Chinese Business Visa (F)

If you are visiting China to do business, lecture, investigation, scientific-technological / cultural exchanges, short- term advanced studies, intern practice or religious affiliations. Effective August 1, 2007: Visa agreements between China and America, eligible American nationals will be issued multiple entry visas valid for twelve (12) months for tourism and business. Duration of stay is up to 30, 60, or 90 days.

  1. Actual passport, valid for at least 6 or more months, with one blank page for the Visa to be pasted on;the last 3 pages of your Passport are Amendment Pages and not considered by consulate.
  2. Copy of the information page of your passport (Photo page).
  3. Completed Visa Application Form per person.
  4. One passport type photo stapled on the Application Form. If not a Passport 2"x2" style/type photo, the Visa Officials will reject it until you get a new one; Xerox copying of your Passport photo or home-made paper photos will be rejected by Embassy.
  5. An Invitation Letter from a Chinese company or a Letter from your Company written on the Company's Business Letterhead. You are required to have Business letter ( Sample of business visa invitation letter)
  6. Complete Applicant information form print and send it with your documents (Request is for sending back passport and visa to your mailing address).
  7. If you are applying for express service you must send copy of your airline itinerary.
  8. Make one check payable to "Chinese Visa Express". See Fees

Note: If you were born in China or Taiwan and applying for China visa with New U.S. Passport , you must send in your old U.S. passport or your old Chinese Passport. You also must write your name in Chinese characters and sign both in English and Chinese on page 1 and 2 of your application.

First time Chinese children applicant born in U.S. must send copies of birth certificate and copy of one parent passport.
